Dat is inderdaad wat ik bedoel.
Alleen gaat het bij mij om een ringvormige doorsnede zoals in het schetsje.
Het gaat om het blauwe oppervlak.

De in genoemde webside gegeven formule voor de equivalente diameter (4x cross-sectional area/wetted perimeter) is niet de equivalente diameter, maar de hydraulische diameter en dat is wat anders.
Quote uit "The Engineering Toolbox":
Note! The hydraulic diameter is not the same as the equivalent diameter. The equivalent diameter is the diameter of a circular duct or pipe that gives the same pressure loss as a rectangular duct or pipe.

dan zul je verder op zoek moeten met equivalent diameter annulus want dan weet ik het verder ook niet.
